Why Big Cottonwood Is Different
Calling a national roadside assistance company or even a valley-based tow service is risky here. Many companies:
- Can’t dispatch into the canyon quickly (most are 1–3 hours away once traffic is factored in).
- Decline canyon calls during storms because of unsafe road conditions.
- Leave you stranded longer, especially when demand spikes during bad weather.
We’re the only towing company located inside the canyon. Our trucks are already positioned near Brighton and Solitude, meaning we can often reach you in under 30–40 minutes from the time you call—even in storm traffic. That’s the difference between waiting hours and getting back on the road the same run.

Why We Created This Pass
Big Cottonwood Canyon is one of Utah’s most popular destinations, seeing over 1 million visitors every winter. But once the snow falls, the canyon becomes one of the most difficult roads to navigate in the state. Unlike city streets or freeways, the canyon has:
- Stop-and-go traffic on steep inclines and declines, which makes it harder to climb or stop safely during snowstorms and icy conditions.
- Sharp curves with reduced visibility.
- Sheer drop-offs and little margin for error.
- Compacted snow and black ice that turn the road into a skating rink.
- Slush build-up and snowdrifts that pull vehicles off course.
- Limited shoulders—no safe place to stop.
Even safe, experienced drivers with 4×4 and snow tires can slide off the road or get stuck in traffic during storms. If it happens without coverage, you’re looking at a $250+ service bill and possibly hours of waiting for a truck to reach you.

How It Works

- Save your confirmation & QR code — we’ll send it by email instantly.
- If you need help, call our 24/7 dispatch and provide your pass details.
- Our local recovery team, based inside Big Cottonwood Canyon, will respond faster than any other service.
What’s Included in Your Season Pass?
24-hour roadside assistance
Emergency fuel delivery (Fuel cost included)
Vehicle Lockout Service
Flat Tire Change/Repair Patch
Battery Jump-Start
Winch-Out/Vehicle Recovery
When snow, ice, or steep inclines leave your vehicle stuck, our professional winch-out recovery gets you pulled free. Each service call is covered up to $250 in value — a lifesaver compared to the full out-of-pocket costs of standard recovery.
Towing Voucher
During the busy winter months, our trucks are in high demand for roadside assistance. Because of this, towing is not included with season passes. However, members receive a discounted tow rate of just $100 — a $200 savings compared to our standard rate.

Who Should Get The Pass?
The Roadside Season Pass is built for anyone planning to spend time in Big Cottonwood Canyon this winter:
- Skiers & snowboarders heading to Brighton or Solitude.
- Families driving up for snow play, sledding, or sightseeing.
- Backcountry adventurers & hikers.
- Locals who commute or recreate in the canyon.
Whether you’re here once a season or every weekend, this pass pays for itself the first time you use it.
That’s why our local presence matters—we don’t just help you, we help keep the canyon moving.
Every minute a car is stuck in the canyon, traffic slows or comes to a complete stop. Quick recovery means: You’re back on your way faster, other drivers stay safe with less congestion, and plows/emergency vehicles can keep moving.
Why Faster Response Matters
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I still get service without a pass?
Yes. We’ll help anyone, but you’ll be billed at our normal rate ($250+ per incident). With the pass, service is included at no extra cost.
Q: What if I buy a Season Pass the same day I get stuck?
We’ll honor same-day purchases. Please note: this only applies to the Season Pass, and prices increase after November 1st.
Q: Is my pass transferable?
